Paranormal Investigations of Texas

I love this quote at the top of this blog: Paranormal Investigations of Texas: "I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as fraud." ~ Carl Jung

The above site -- Paranormal Investigations of Texas -- is a new one for me. Patricia Stockman-Beatty sent me the link. Interesting EVP section. The site isn't limited to ghosts; but addresses UFOs and other phenomena as well, including psychic services and ghost hunting equipment of the technical kind.

Fade to Brown: The Curious History of a Famous Phantom Photo | Mysterious Universe

The famous photograph of "The Brown Lady." Is it a real photo of a real ghost? Many have thought so for decades, and so far, no one has been able to prove it isn't. Micah Hanks writes about this very most famous of ghost photos at Mysterious Universe:Fade to Brown: The Curious History of a Famous Phantom Photo | Mysterious Universe

FLIPSIDE: The Tourist's Guide on How To Navigate the Afterlife

Rich Martini, author of FLIPSIDE: The Tourist's Guide on How To Navigate the Afterlife was the guest last night on Coast to Coast. What a wonderful guest! Just fantastic. So fantastic, I'm going to read not only Martini's book, but of course, pursue Michael Newton's work, which Martini has followed. Not only that, I am seriously considering getting up a book club or discussion group of some kind related to this.

So what's all this about? Reincarnation, past lives, current life. Network of family and friends, souls, spirits, and the waiting room or realm in between the "real" world -- this world. Spirit guides and councils. What we learn from our "contracts" and choices in each life.

One amusing thing that came up last night: the question of ghosts came up. Martini related one woman's journey into a past life where she was a ghost. She said she just felt comfortable hanging around in that state for a couple of hundred years in her home -- I think it was an Irish castle but I could be wrong about that -- until her spirit guide came along and said, "Don't you think it's time to move on from this?"
